Recently, it became possible to move from a descriptive analysis of social data to predictive analysis, and to build better theories regarding social behaviors, due to data revolution and technology advancements. On the other hand, studying trust models in a social setting becomes imperative not only to understand the dissemination of trust in the network, but also to supply us with insights about the nature of social exchanges in the network. For modeling trust dynamics and social network evolution, a mixed approach of i) theoretical modeling, ii) qualitative studies, and iii) social big data mining will be used.
