RésuméCommunication is the passing on of ideas and information. It can serve everyday situations as well as professional ones. The contact may between people, organizations or places and can be in a number of forms which can be verbal and non-verbal. Just as listening, speaking and reading, writing constitutes an important element in the effectiveness of communication. When speaking, the learner can understand either through words or through some facial expressions and gestures. This is not the case when writing since the reader will grasp only through written words. Hence, the writers are requested to use as much words and expressions as possible. As far as business communication is concerned, an e-mail is the most prevalent form in writing. There are times when writing an email is the best way to communicate, and often the only way to get your message across. But many people do not get the maximum usuage of it as they are not aware about professional mail writing. It is important to consider errors while writing e-mails which can hinder and handicap communication. The aim of this thesis is to explore the content and the quality of business documents mainly on emails, and to identify types of errors in order to answer the main question: DO ERRORS MADE IN BUSINESS EMAILS HINDER COMMUNICATION!
